Trip Report on the Morrison Spring "Plan B" Dive

The Gang at Morrison Springs after the weather on the Gulf turned bad

Because the weather did not cooperate on the Gulf of Mexico and the wind and the waves made it impossible to make the trip out to the Oriskany, This trip was not one of the most successful. Instead, in true Divers Incorporated "never-say-die" spirit, we drove to a nearby Florida spring for some fantastic cavern diving in the clearest fresh water most of us had ever seen. There were fresh water American Eels that would swim with us in the warm clear water and the cypress setting made this a dive worth doing and a trip worth remembering. We will try again soon to make the Oriskany once again and hope that the next time we have waves that are smaller than 11 feet and weather that is a little more cooperative.
