August 18 - August 31, 2008 Past Trip Report! What an amazing experience! We started out our journey with a short stay in Cairns, Australia where we visited the Cairns Tropical Zoo and were able to mingle and interact with Koala Bears, Kangaroos, Crocodiles, Birds and even a Wombat. The next day after shopping, we boarded the Spoil Sport and Headed out to the Great Barrier Reef. This boat and crew were an unbelievable combination of Luxury and Diving. Never had any of us eaten so well or been so well taken care of. The weather was unbelievably rough for the season, but the size and luxury of the dive boat made it a fantastic experience nonetheless. We had an opportunity to dive 26 dives, met lots of people from around the world, and had an opportunity to briefly visit Lizard Island. We had a awesome experience and look forward to heading there again. The pictures and video (soon) will let you see what you missed and maybe give you a push when we go again on one of these fabulous expeditions.
