Cooper River, South Carolina
Fossil and Shark Tooth Diving

April 10-12, 2009

 

  Join us for two days of exciting and thrilling "black water" diving in  The Cooper River, near Charleston, South Carolina.  This weekend trip will be relaxing and rewarding with a two tank dive on Saturday followed by a two tank dive on Sunday.   The reason we diver here?   Here you have an incredible opportunity to find fossils and sharks teeth including the ones from the massive Megalodon shark.  There are pictures on this page of teeth that have been pulled from the river on trips like this and you are welcome to stop in at Divers Incorporated and see some of our collection.  There are also numerous activities for non divers planned on this fun vacation.  Photo opportunities and historic areas are easy to find in the Charleston Area... A non-diver guide is available as well. 

 

Trip includes:

bullet

Two days of diving, two dives per day

bullet

Friday and Saturday night accommodations based on double occupancy

bullet

Tank rental from Divers Incorporated so you can have two tanks per day to take with you

bullet

All air fills for the second day of diving

bullet

Transportation of your equipment to South Carolina if you choose to fly down

bullet

Drinks and Snacks on the boat each day

bullet

Services of a Divers Incorporated instructor and dive guide who will make sure that you find fossils and sharks teeth

bullet

Air Fare can be arranged for you but is not included in the price of the trip

The cost of the trip for both days is $399 per diver,  $149 non-diver.  This trip is limited to Five Divers and Divers of all Levels are welcome as long as they are comfortable in very limited visibility river diving in fast current. This trip Sold Out completely in 2006 and the first trip for 2007 sold out months in advance. There is no limit to non-divers.  Transportation, course fees and rentals of equipment other than tanks are not included in the price of the trip. One set of double tanks are welcome and encouraged.  A $50 Deposit is required to hold your spot and is fully refundable until January 2,  2009.   Final payment is due March 1st, 2009.  Trip Closes March 15.

There are numerous beaches to explore near the Charleston area.   Tour the impressive Aircraft Carrier Yorktown with the extra day Option  The nearby plantations are fun to visit for the Non Divers
