Join us for Two half days of shipwreck diving in the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary  in Alpena, Michigan.   Lake Huron has some of the best wreck diving in the world and the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary is truly world class.   For every level of diver there is something in Alpena.   This will be a relaxing and fun way for you to experience Great Lakes shipwreck diving at it's best.   All this fantastic diving with the camaraderie of the Divers Incorporated gang. 

From wooden schooners to sidewheel steamers to modern freighters, the shipwrecks of Thunder Bay represent a cross-section of Great Lakes maritime history. In some cases, little remains except a few planks and ribs, while other vessels are completely intact, looking very much as they did the day they sank. The cold, fresh waters of Lake Huron have provided a favorable environment for shipwreck preservation, although waves and ice have damaged some shallow wrecks. Whatever their condition, the shipwrecks of Thunder Bay tell us a great deal about life on the Great Lakes over the past 200 years. 

Trip includes:

Two tank charter on Saturday, July 28 and a Two tank Charter on Sunday July 29

Tank rental from Divers Incorporated so you can have 2 tanks to take with you.

All Air Fills (Nitrox is extra if available)

Drinks and Snacks on the boat each day

Services of a Divers Incorporated instructor and dive guide.

Camping at a nearby campsite.

Two Night Hotel Accommodations can be arranged for an additional $110 per person based on Double Occupancy.

 The cost of the trip for the day is $349 per diver.  This trip is limited to six Divers and Divers of all Levels are welcome.  Adventure dives towards your PADI Advanced Open Water Certification are available. We are Planning on putting together a car pool for the trip up to Alpena but transportation, course fees and rentals of equipment other than tanks are not included in the price of the trip.  A $25 deposit is required to hold your space and is fully refundable before May 28,  2007 - non refundable after. Final payment is due July 1, 2008.
