Diving since:

I started my diving while on vacation in Cancun Mexico in 1995. I completed the “Discover Scuba” resort course and experienced my first scuba dive in 35 foot of water on a beautiful coral reef. I was hooked. I came home and immediately found a dive shop and learned to dive. Diving has enriched the lives of my entire family.

Favorite Dive Ever:

The “Blue Hole” in Belize. The boat ride from St. Ambergris Cay to the dive site was an adventure in itself. But once you are at the dive site, it’s breath-taking. The depth, water clarity, and geologic structures (Stalagmites) are spectacular. Add in the large reef sharks, just a few feet away from divers, this is a very memorable dive. I look forward to returning someday.

Favorite Local Dive:

I enjoy diving “Lake France” in Monroe MI. It’s a lime stone quarry that has filled with water. It’s close to my home and the water clarity very good. It has several interesting objects on the bottom which include a couple of boats and an airplane. The depth ranges from 25 ft. to 117ft. On the west side of the lake, the quarry company left a large rock crusher and five garage style buildings behind. They are fun to explore.

Favorite Great Lake Shipwreck:

Have not done one yet
