PADI OWSI Crossover
This is the course that prepares you to become a PADI Open Water Scuba Insructor. Whether you are a PADI Divemaster, PADI Assistant instructor, or a Divemaster or Instructor from another training organization, this course is tailored for you to start with what you know and then apply it to the PADI System of Diver Education.
The Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program is one of two distinct components of PADI’s Instructor Development Course (IDC)—the core of PADI Instructor training. The first portion is the Assistant Instructor course followed by the Open Water Scuba Instructor program. Divers who are already PADI Assistant Instructors or Professionals from other recognized trainin organizations can get credit for previous experience.
