PADI Underwater Naturalist - Non Diver

This course is designed to be an introduction to the underwater marine salt water aquatic or the fresh water  environment and to help you develop safe and responsible interaction with aquatic life found in the ocean. This course is the Lecture only portions of either Underwater Naturalist course offered by Divers Incorporated. 

Prerequisites

To qualify for the Underwater Naturalist Diver course, you must: 

  • Be 10 years of age or older.

 Course Overview

This course is an introduction to aquatic life including an overview of responsible human interactions with aquatic life.

 During then Underwater Naturalist course, you will learn the following:

  • The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of diving in different salt water aquatic environments.

  • A basic overview of major aquatic life groupings (kingdoms and phyla).

  • Factual information that dispels myths of potentially dangerous aquatic life.

  • An overview of basic aquatic life interactions and associations.

  • Responsible human interactions with aquatic life.

Course Costs

The PADI Underwater Naturalist Diver - Non Diver Specialty Certification from Divers Incorporated includes:

  • 8 hours of classroom lecture

  • Books, Fish ID charts,  Handouts and course materials

  • Certification Processing and Administrative fees

This Course Costs $100 per person.
