DSAT Tec Diver One
If you're interested in technical diving, but haven't yet met the prerequisites for the DSAT Tec Deep Diver course, you can consider enrolling in the DSAT Tec Diver One course. It is also a subcourse of the full DSAT Tec Deep Diver course.
Prerequisites
To qualify for the DSAT Tec
Diver One course, you must:
Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another training organization similar to that of a PADI Open Water Diver.) Be 18 years of age or older. PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization) PADI Enriched Air Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization where the instruction includes planning dives for mixtures other than EAN32 and EAN36)
PADI Deep Diver (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Have a minimum of 50 logged dives, of which at least 10 must be enriched air dives, 12 must be deeper than 60 feet and at least six must be deeper than 100 feet
Course Overview
This program is intended for those divers who do not yet have the prerequisite experience and training needed to move into technical deep diving, but who wish to begin developing the skills and knowledge involved. Its goals are:
To qualify the diver to make gas-switch extended no-stop dives to 130 feet using air and enriched air with up to 60 percent oxygen, using technical diving equipment and procedures.
To train the diver in the motor skills required for technical diving To assure the diver understands and acknowledges the hazards and risks involved with technical diving, as well as the limits of the training received in this course.
To train the diver to prepare for and respond to the reasonably foreseeable emergencies that may occur in this type of diving. To provide the foundational skills and knowledge for completing the entire TEC Deep Diver Course.
Since it's part of the Tec Deep Diver course, you DSAT Tec Diver One course training credits toward the DSAT Tec Deep Diver course.

24 hours of classroom lecture DSAT Tec Deep Crew Pack and course materials Seven Open Water training Dives Pool dives as needed All Nitrox and air fills for the course
This program Costs $995 per person
Note: Once this course is completed at Divers Incorporated, $895 of the tuition can be credited towards the completion of the DSAT Tec Deep certification once the prerequisites have been completed.
