Learn to Scuba Dive, Pool and Classroom

Learning to Scuba Dive starts with some pool and classroom training that is relaxed and enjoyable.  At Divers Incorporated we want to give you options so we offer you the opportunity Pay-As-You-Go with regards to your scuba training.   All scuba courses require the pool and classroom be done first, then there is the Open Water Certification Dives where you show your instructor that you know what you are doing in the "big water" outside of the pool.  This option is the best one for you if you aren't sure you are going to like it, if you are traveling to a destination to finish your Open Water Certification Dives, or if you are on a limited budget and are not able to take advantage of one of our more complete packages.

Open Water Certification
The Pool and the classroom portions of this course are only the beginning.  To complete your certification you must complete dives in an Open Water setting.  Typically your open water certification dive will be scheduled as soon as it is possible after the pool and classroom portions of this program.  Regardless of how you plan on completing the certification dives you will have six months to complete the required Open Water Certification without retraining. This certification consists of four open water training dives over a two-day period. We have Options  for Open Water Training with us!

Additional Requirements

Students must supply their own snorkeling equipment prior to their first class session or they may Rent the mask snorkel and fins for an additional fee. This equipment should be properly fitted and will become your most personal dive gear so there are benefits to owning.  The Staff of Divers Incorporated can help you choose something appropriate during your orientation session.  This equipment will include: Mask, Fins, Boots (if open heel fins are used), and a Snorkel. These are all available from Divers Incorporated. Your instructor will explain the equipment requirements during your class sessions. 

By the fourth Class session students are also required to purchase a dive table, eRDPml or make arrangements for using a dive computer during their open water training dives.  The staff and instructors at Divers Incorporated can explain the different options to you.
